Fogger/Mister on Barbed Elbow
DIG’s 360° Fogger/Mister with barbed elbow operates at a minimum pressure of 30 PSI to produce micro-sized droplets in a small diameter area when mounted above a plant. Higher incoming pressure results in smaller and finer droplets with finer mist. The 3-GPH mister’s vortex design spins the water flow into a fine mist, useful for plants needing constant moisture or wherever overhead cooling watering or humidifying is suggested. It is easy to position the mister and direct the water flow by attaching the fogger/mister to the micro tubing 5 to 15” above the plant canopy for full coverage.

The 360° Fogger/Mister with ¼” barbed elbow is available with a full-circle pattern in a flow range of 2.21 to 3.17 GPH at 30 to 60 PSI. The droplet size is very sensitive to pressure, with higher incoming pressure leading to smaller and finer droplets with a finer mist. The 360° Fogger/Mister with ¼” barbed elbow is made of a four-part construction including the fogger body, cover, color-coded nozzle and barbed elbow, which can be connected directly to poly tubing or with ¼” micro tubing.
The 360° Fogger/Mister with ¼” barbed elbow can be used for pots and hanging baskets, around pools and patio areas or where overhead cooling or misting may be needed on any type of planting, including vegetation that requires constant moisture, or for humidifying effect. It can also be used for rooting or for creating proper micro-climate conditions.
For densely planted areas or for maximum cooling effect, place the 360° Fogger/Misters with ¼” barbed elbow 3′ to 6′ apart for good coverage. Do not use the 360° Fogger/Mister with ¼” barbed elbow in windy areas as the small-sized droplets can be easily dispersed in the air, even under low-to-moderate wind conditions, adversely affecting uniformity. One of the main advantages of the 360° Fogger/Mister with ¼” barbed elbow is that a relatively large number can operate simultaneously on a 1/2” pipe.
