The LEIT XRC is an advanced, waterproof, wireless water-management controller powered by ambient light (solar). The controller’s low power photovoltaic module collects light to produce pollution-free electricity which is stored and used to power the controller day and night in any kind of weather. The LEIT XRC operates 4 to 28 zones without a connection to the power grid, delivering a cost-effective alternative to conventional AC control systems.
The LEIT XRC’s two-way radio capabilities allow the user to remotely connect to the controller via one of the LEIT Link™ Remote Control Handsets from a distance of up to 800′ line of site. It is a practical solution to field communications with LEIT XRC controllers in remote or hard to reach sites.
The LEIT(TM) XRC series controllers have up to 12 independent watering schedules per valve, supporting a range of water management options for commercial and municipal applications. The controllers’ programming capabilities also include multilingual software selections when powering on, durations of up to 5 hours and 59 minutes per station, the ability to run groups of stations together within any of the programs, manual run with skip to next, monthly budget, status reports, monthly and yearly history reports, MV/P setting options, station diagnostic capabilities, enhanced security, sensor options, remote or local operation setting, and two-way, remote radio communication utilizing the LEIT Link Remote Control Handset for a complete stand-alone system.
The LEIT Link™ supports two-way radio communications to a LEIT XRC controller via the two available remote control handsets. Upon connection to a LEIT XRC controller using a LEIT Link™ remote control handset, the current running program and current open valve information is provided. The user can then also review status and history reports, modify program settings, temporarily interrupt a running program to do a manual run, and test or skip to the next valve mode from a distance of up to 800′ line of site. In the Check Status mode, the handset can display time, date, budget, sensor activation, and solenoid integrity. In Uplink History, one can review the hourly usage of each valve by month or year, including manual run usage.
