The single station, battery operated controller with LCD display and 3/4″ inline valve is recommended for any low to high flow system. The controller has a 3/4″ female pipe thread (FNPT) inline valve and an operating flow range of .1 to 28 gallons per minute. Adapters are included for converting the inline valve with pipe thread into hose thread. We recommend using the controller with drip irrigation, sprinkler systems or any other watering application that requires more than 6 gallons per hour (GPM) or 360 GPH.

This battery operated controller can be installed in two ways. It has a 3/4” inlet and outlet with female pipe thread so it can be installed directly onto a 3/4” PVC male pipe thread fittings as part of your drip irrigation or sprinkler system valve manifold or as a stand-alone unit. It also can be attached into a garden hose or faucet/spigot using the two hose-to-pipe adapters that are included in the controller package. Install the controller with the orange handle on the side of the controller facing away from the faucet and make sure that the flow direction arrow engraved on the side of the controller is pointed away from the water source.
Recommendations: Wrap all fittings with TEFLON tape. Do not use pipe cement (solvent) or pipe dope on the valve as it will damage the valve thread and void the warranty. Do not over tighten.
The 7001 battery operated controller has an LCD display and six programming buttons; the controller’s four upper buttons are used for programming, the button on the lower left is used for manual on/off and the button on the lower right is used for rain off or to stop irrigation when it is raining.
This battery operated controller requires one 9 volt battery (alkaline battery recommended)
