DIG’s 1/4″ Barbed Drip Fittings are designed for use with all brands of 1/4″ micro tubing, 1/4″ dripline, and 1/4″ soaker hose (with an internal diameter of .140 to .170 inches). These fittings create a tight-fit connection by being pushed into the tubing. They can be used to create two-way or three-way layouts with different tubing types and to attach micro tubing to 1/2″ or 3/4″ drip tubing. Made from high-impact plastic, these fittings feature the largest inside diameter in the industry, resulting in higher flow rates and lower head loss.

DIG’s 1/4” Barbed Drip Fittings are available in a range of configurations for use with 1/4” micro tubing (also known as distribution tubing), 1/4″ drip line and 1/4″ soaker hose. They provide a low cost and simple method for the installation of the different tubing. The main purpose of the fittings is to allow the extension of drip emitters or 1/4” drip line from the drip tubing into the plant areas. They use a sharp barb over which the end of the tubing is pushed for a very tight fit.
To connect the barbed fittings, force the tubing over the barb of the connector, tee or elbow. To connect 1/4” micro tubing into the 1/2” drip tubing, punch a hole into the 1/2” drip tubing, snap the barbed fitting into the hole and push the micro tubing over the other side of the barb. The 1/4″ fittings are available in a barbed connector, tee or elbow to meet the varying requirements in the installation and layout of the micro tubing and 1/4″ drip line.
