Technical Service

DIG, a manufacturer of irrigation products located in North County, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Technical Service team. This is a full-time position. The position requires answering a large volume of incoming inquiries and providing top level technical assistance on all of our product lines. This position is responsible for initiating technical service support and working with other groups to resolve customers' problems. The ideal candidate must exhibit excellent phone and communication skills and stay updated on technical information for existing and new products.

Skill sets and qualifications include:

  • Technical experience, industry-related preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Clearly able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • General computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • High School/Secondary Degree Required
  • 1-3 years of experience is preferred

Commercial Territory Sales Manager

DIG Corporation seeks an experienced Commercial Territory Sales Manager. The Manager is responsible for the performance and success of the commercial sales against forecasted plan in a designated territory. The TSR is responsible for managing and expanding an existing book of customers that includes Distributors, Resellers, Specifiers, Government Agencies, and Contractors.


  • The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for profitably growing the commercial, LEIT and Agriculture product sales within the designated territory.
  • Promote, Educate, and sell DIG Corporation’s Commercial, LEIT, and AG product lines to resellers, dealers, distributors, contractors, specifiers, landscape architects, and end users.
  • Work closely with other territory sales personnel and report to DIG Director of Sales.
  • Establish sales targets by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the market segment in the territory, as well as projecting expected sales volume for existing and new customers and products.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and objectives.
  • Maintain current and complete knowledge of the products provided by DIG Corporation and competitors.
  • Maintain a current and complete record of current and potential customers, contact persons, addresses, phone numbers and records of most recent contacts and results.
  • Develop a plan for regular customer contacts and provide the Director of Sales with a record of contacts and results of contacts.
  • Make sufficient post sales contacts with clients to ensure client satisfaction. Update client contact records as required by account contact and activity.
  • Be visible in the non-profit, educational and local community to promote DIG products.
  • Assist installers and end users in the field with equipment, operations and troubleshooting to result in improved product performance, fewer callbacks, and positive reports back to the project specifiers.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and/or making professional presentations of proposals to clients.
  • Function within the established budget.
  • Participate in the development of proposals together with other sales, technical and operations personnel to ensure that the customers' needs are understood by corporate personnel and that the developed proposal and schedule of work is what the customer wants.
  • Attend trade shows and industry and networking events in support of sales goals.
  • Overnight travel (25%)
  • Accurately and in a timely manner, perform and keep current all reports required by company policies or rules.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales

* Previous sales success including cold calling, distribution sales, and end-user sales.
* Irrigation industry experience. (Landscape Architecture, Distribution Sales, Maintenance Sales, Manufacturer Sales)
* Bi-Lingual (Spanish)

* Associates degree or bachelor’s degree preferred in sales and marketing, business management, landscape and irrigation or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales capacity. OEM, Irrigation, Landscape, or Agricultural industry preferred.
