- Construction: The A1 Drip line is an extruded, thick
wall tubing with an inside diameter of .540" and an outside
diameter of .630", with a wall thickness of .45". Molded
pressure compensating emitters welded inside with nominal flow
rates of .63 and 1.07 gph. It is self flushing, resistant to
plugging ,and impregnated with Vinyzene, an antimicrobial additive
to decrease fungal and bacterial growth within the dripper line,
even under waste water conditions.
- The dripper is of a cylindrical
style, to reduce friction loss. The dripper and the diaphragm
are molded in one piece construction from flexible elostimetic
rubber. The dripper flow path depth is .039" and flow path
width is .039", with a flow path length of 1.9".
- Operation: Each dripper has the ability to regulate
outflow independently with an inlet working pressure range of
15 - 40 psi. At a constant outflow rate, the manufacturer's coefficient
of variation (CV) is .04 for both 1.07 and .63 gph. Minimum pressure
at the last dripper should not drop
below 15 psi to ensure the proper function of the self flushing
mode. The drip line is available
in 12", 18", 24", 30" and 36" spacings
between drippers and coil length of 100, 200, 500' and 1000'.
