The LEIT X controller is a programmable, self contained, water management irrigation control system. It can be programmed to control 10 to 28 zones using the 1600HE solenoid, spanning an area of over one mile with up to 12 independent water schedules per zone. The LEIT X controllers can be installed in any outdoor location.
How much light is needed?
The LEIT controllers are unique to all other water management and irrigation control systems because of the controller's ability to harness ambient light to generate electricity. The electricity is stored in long life non-battery based super capacitors and used to power the controller. This feature allows the LEIT X system to operate in any area, in any weather conditions, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. On a normal day with direct sunlight, an average range of 5,000-100,000 lux can be measured. The LEIT X controller requires a minimum of 8,000 lux for normal operation.
